Every object on this wall was taken. The museums that hold it will show you the art and stay silent on the theft, so here the theft is kept beside the work: when, by whom, from where. Restitution has begun and is nowhere near finished. We will say so until it is.

Where the museum names only a people, we keep the maker. Where it hides how a thing was taken, we say so.
